Anime Iowa 2019 was a blast, and emceeing the masquerade was no exception! We’ve thrown together a compilation of some of our favorite moments as Deku & Inko for you. AnimeIowa AnimeIowa is the largest anime convention in Iowa and still growing, hosting well over 3000 attendees each year. It is held once a year in July Friday through Sunday.

We’re happy to announce our first official guesting spot for 2020 is Planet Funk Con. Planet Funk Con will take place June 26-28 at the TBK Sports Complex in Bettendorf, IA. We will be judging the cosplay contest and presenting a variety of programming, including the wildly popular Sh*t Cosplayers Say.

International Cosplay League 2019, powered by Japan Weekend ICL is an international cosplay competition created and organized by Japan Weekend, the biggest convention of Madrid (Spain). The third edition will be hosted on September 21st at Feria Madrid. We select a duo and a solo, a couple and an individual contestant. The duo is based on the performance (60% performance and 40% craftsmanship) and the solo is based completely on the craftsmanship, so a performance is not required.

Japan Weekend Madrid – 25 y 26 septiembre 2020 en Palacio de la Prensa Japan Weekend is held in Madrid (where the largest and most crowded), Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao and Granada take place. We announce our dates months in advance to prepare everything: from your cosplay to your travel companions, everything matters! We are honored to announce that we have been officially named the United State representatives in the “Duo” category for the International Cosplay League! The international qualifying event was held this past weekend at Youmacon, where U.S. representatives were chosen for the International Cosplay League, Clara Cow’s Cosplay Cup, and Cosplay World Masters.
